They kept saying 'this tastes nothing like Cranberry' but I think they're just used to the odd canned gel (which tastes nothing like cranberries). When I took up the holiday hosting duties about 20 years ago, I experimented with cranberry recipes. I liked the Bon Appetit recipe you highlighted here the best and have made it for the past few years. It is great added to leftover turkey sandwiches or swirled into Greek yogurt. Plus, you can serve the extra Port with a nice Stilton with dessert.
BTW, your Anglo-Irish compote bowl is gorgeous. I wish you and yours a joyous Thanksgiving.
KL GaylinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2454554472800124620.post-48687100545081911432015-11-24T22:21:56.779-08:002015-11-24T22:21:56.779-08:00Well, that sounds like a fine idea to me Meg.Well, that sounds like a fine idea to me Meg.Chronica Domushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06732224119040843337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2454554472800124620.post-31794354477061209102015-11-24T06:33:43.129-08:002015-11-24T06:33:43.129-08:00add a slug of Gran Marnier to it.add a slug of Gran Marnier to it.Pigtown*Designhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13775512940294150252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2454554472800124620.post-74627653666809674172015-11-23T16:55:17.357-08:002015-11-23T16:55:17.357-08:00Mine is even easier!
