You've made me feel better! But as for help with coding etc… well frankly it's lucky I even manage to get a blog post up, I am not the most technically minded (or interested, more to the point). Funny considering my older sister was a computer systems engineer in her first career phase (now has a phd in finance for something completely different). I've tested my theory on two different Android tablets, a laptop, and an iPhone on both the web view of my blog and the mobile site. Mobile site is displaying both images identically because the only way to view them larger is by clicking on them. The web view, when photos are stretched by increasing the size of the text/screen shows a marked difference between the two, as does stretching the images on a tablet also in the web view. OK, I'll shut up now because it is difficult to explain but I've figured out my problem and have a fix for it - phew!Chronica Domushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06732224119040843337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2454554472800124620.post-66429563059537728782015-06-12T18:59:07.040-07:002015-06-12T18:59:07.040-07:00Hello elaine,

I used it a few times for my old design and it worked nicely, but unfortunately I can't remember where I found the code. I think it may also be related to either picasa or google+, the place where the images are uploaded by blogger once you publish them. You can also change the maximum size of your photos inside the actual code, so they fill the page rather than stay in a middle. Start with codeitpretty.com and google. I find that so very perplexing and I'm beginning to wonder if the problem is related to the platform I am viewing my blog on. If I view the html behind my post, I see that each time I post an image, there are two lines of code related to that image - one shows a higher resolution, the other a lower. Perhaps one is designed to be viewed on a mobile site (where I see that both images look identical), and the other for a web site/browser - where I see a clear difference in the images I show above. <br /><br />Any techies out there I wonder?Chronica Domushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06732224119040843337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2454554472800124620.post-62162731678949316792015-06-11T15:04:36.257-07:002015-06-11T15:04:36.257-07:00Hello GSL,

My husband just viewed both images on his Android tablet and he could most certainly see the difference in clarity when he expands the images by pinching them (is that the term?) open. I just checked my iPhone and there is no difference in photo quality when viewed from the mobile site, but I can clearly see the difference when viewed from the web version, still on my iPhone. I'm now wondering if this blurriness only applies to certain platforms. All very, very odd!
